The community of Goldstream, Alaska, makes up a large portion of the Fairbanks metropolitan area, situated northwest of the city itself. Goldstream covers 86 square miles of land in the Fairbanks North Star Borough, home to a population of almost 4,000 people.
An abundance of open, undeveloped forest land covers the Goldstream area, dotted with sizeable homes offering privacy and sweeping, open views. The Goldstream Public Use Area is a densely forested chunk of terrain surrounded by small bodies of water. Not far from there is Goldstream Road, creating a driving loop around the area while offering access to the Goldstream Valley Bike Park, Ken Kunkle Community Center and Peat Ponds Wildlife Area.
When it comes to auto repairs, only the most capable hands of experienced professionals will deliver the high-quality results your car or truck needs to continue performing at its best. You’ll find those hands at Metropolitan Garage, a family-owned shop serving the Goldstream community since 1997, staffed by well-educated and mechanically minded Alaskans! We know there’s never a convenient time for auto repairs, but our team will do everything to smooth the process for you. After all, we really don’t work on cars. We work for people who happen to own cars.
